Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has revealed that Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho is not a happy camper as speculation over his future continues.

The transfer window has seen many stories surrounding Coutinho's future at Liverpool, with the player having handed in a transfer request in mid-August.

Reports suggest the playmaker wishes to join FC Barcelona, although there has seemingly been no progress in negotiations between his club and the Spanish giants.

Coutinho played and scored for Brazil in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ecuador on Friday morning, and looked an emotional figure after his wonderful finish.

Neymar, who left Barca for PSG in the latest window, has revealed that, despite getting on the scoresheet for the Selecao, his countryman is not happy at the moment.

"I'm very happy because he has scored a goal, because at this moment he is filled with great sadness,” he said, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

"He really helped us in the victory – he is a great player, who is very important to us."

Barca have up until midnight on Friday evening to sign players as the Spanish window is still open, and until then, Coutinho's future will be the window's latest hot topic.
